Hobbies
I enjoy weightlifting, history, Spanish, French and German languages... and math, of course. I am constantly learning more mathematics. One of my favorite fields to study in my spare time is fractional calculus, which is an extension of the standard freshman/sophomore calculus, abstracted to allow for "fractional derivatives". It turns out that this can be useful for solving certain types of differential equations and diffusion problems, but the math itself is very aesthetically pleasing and fun to think about. Other mathematical interests include topology, chaos theory and dynamical systems, mathematical biology, and complex analysis. :)
