I graduated Magna Cum Laude, Top 10% Number 3, from my high school. I am currently a Senior at Lamar University, and I am getting a Double Major in Interdisciplinary Studies (EC-6th) and American Sign Language. I made the Dean's List for Spring and Fall semester of 2011.
Experience
I have tutored throughout high school mainly Math and English. I love tutoring children and seeing the "light bulb" come on when I explain something in a way that they understand. I thoroughly enjoy math, English, and music. I have an Associates Degree in Music from Lee College. Recently I have tutored for a 6-7th grader with learning disabilities. I have worked with children with ADHD, Dyslexia, and Aspergers. I taught 7th grade Bible class at my church. The reason why I tutor children and want to teach is because I want to show and give children the love of learning and reading.
