Past experiences: Two years of teacher intern during junior and senior year of high school. Current: Paid job as an ASL tutor at Lamar University. Teacher intern in educational settings from k-12. I have taken classes that are relevant to ASL. I have taken ASL 1-5, Intro to Deaf Education, and Intro to Interpreting. Intro to ASL Structure, Diverse Deaf Communities class, and pedagogy courses. I am currently completing the rest of my degree in college right now. I am a hardworking person and have experiences of building life skills such as community services and volunteer works with children at camps and other educational settings. I also have worked outside of the country in Jamaica during two summers with children who needed educational support since Jamaica is a developing country.
