Experience
Worked at Sylvan as a higher math and science teacher for a year. Tutored any HS math or science, worked with up to 3 kids at a time. Also did SAT prep. Private tutor for physics and chemistry at the college level, been doing this for about 4 years. Also tutored high school student in chemistry. Supplemental Instruction Teacher for organic chemistry and general chemistry for 2 years - this was at the college level. All the of the students I have worked with have told me I have helped them quite a bit, I find ways to make the student see what they are doing and use multiple approaches to help them learn the material. I strive to explain things in a manner that will help them understand, even if that requires me explaining things in multiple difference ways. I understand that all students learn a little different, with tutoring you cannot take the one size fits all approach.
