I come from a large family of 15 siblings and I have over 20+ nieces and nephews. I have been caring for children since I was 13 years old within my family. My church has a day care facility and I work their with children ages (0-17) on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights we have a tutoring session for children, especially middle school and high school students.. I have also worked for families from my church and tutored their children for various subjects while in high school and in college. I have experience with special needs children and adults since I have siblings with disorders and church members with special needs children. I am prior service and currently a college student majoring in History. I have always been a honor student so I can tutor children that need help in any subject my current GPA is a 3.8. Before I altered my major to History I majored in Business Law however; now it is History with a minor in physiology. I have taught children to read, improved their math skills, enhanced reading out loud and writing essays up to a college level, and comprehension. I have played sports all my life and I medals to prove it, track and field is my specialty however; I have played volleyball, softball, and basketball, I have also worked with my nieces who are playing at the high school level now and starting positions. I am currently a college student and I can help anyone find the right school, what to expect when they get their, what classes to take and how to know and do anything concerning any university. I know some people have confusion and how to go about searching scholarships, writing essays for scholarships and just what to do period, I am more then able to assist you and walk you through each step. I have gotten many students in at the local school Lamar in Beaumont and can help others. When I was in high school I was in the honor society and when I took the TAKS test I received distinguish achievement since, I scored with top scores. I have also tutored high school students at my church and friends to take and pass the TAKS and GED, SAT, and ACT. I have a sister and niece who are dyslexia and special needs and I have taught them to read and still tutor my niece since she is in middle school and still need assistance. I have played sports all my life and I have medals to prove it.
